Terms of Service

Sidekickk provides the platform and holds payments in escrow. We are not the employer of any worker and we do not perform the work. Workers are independent contractors responsible for their own tax, insurance, licences and the quality of their work.

You must be 18 or over and provide accurate details. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, attempt to move payments off-platform, or misrepresent identity, licences or reviews.

Sidekickk is currently free for both posters and workers: there are no subscriptions, no poster service fee and no worker commission. Posters pay only the job budget, and workers receive 100% of it. We may introduce a service fee or commission in the future to keep the platform running; if we do, we will give you advance notice and update these terms before any fee applies to a new job.

Job funds are captured when the poster funds the job and held in escrow. Funds are released to the worker when the poster confirms the job is complete. Once released, a payout cannot be reversed through Sidekickk.

If a job is cancelled before the worker starts, the full budget is refunded to the poster — there is no cancellation fee while Sidekickk is free. If a job is cancelled part-way, the poster is refunded whatever wasn't released to the worker.

If poster and worker disagree, either party can raise a dispute from the job page. Sidekickk reviews the job record and messages and may release, partially release or refund escrow. Our decision on the release of escrowed funds is final for the purposes of the platform; it does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

No illegal, unsafe, discriminatory or misleading listings. No harassment. Do not request or accept payment outside Sidekickk for a job posted here — it removes escrow protection for both sides and may result in a ban.

To the extent permitted by law, Sidekickk is not liable for the acts or omissions of users, for loss or damage arising from a job, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
