Terms of Service

Sidekickk provides the platform and holds payments in escrow. We are not the employer of any worker and we do not perform the work. Workers are independent contractors responsible for their own tax, insurance, licences and the quality of their work.

You must be 18 or over and provide accurate details. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, attempt to move payments off-platform, or misrepresent identity, licences or reviews.

There are no subscriptions. When a poster funds a job, Sidekickk adds a 5% service fee on top of the budget. A separate 5% commission is deducted from the worker's payout. Both amounts are shown before you confirm. Stripe processing costs are included in our fee.

Job funds are captured when the poster funds the job and held in escrow. Funds are released to the worker when the poster confirms the job is complete. Once released, a payout cannot be reversed through Sidekickk.

If a job is cancelled before the worker starts, the budget and the poster's 5% service fee are refunded in full. If a job is cancelled part-way, the poster's service fee is prorated to the amount actually released.

If poster and worker disagree, either party can raise a dispute from the job page. Sidekickk reviews the job record and messages and may release, partially release or refund escrow. Our decision on the release of escrowed funds is final for the purposes of the platform; it does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

No illegal, unsafe, discriminatory or misleading listings. No harassment. Do not request or accept payment outside Sidekickk for a job posted here — it removes escrow protection for both sides and may result in a ban.

To the extent permitted by law, Sidekickk is not liable for the acts or omissions of users, for loss or damage arising from a job, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
